Templates
17 industry templates to skip the blank-page problem, pre-tuned prompts, suggested knowledge sources and enabled tools for each industry.
What is a template?
A template is a pre-built assistant configuration, system prompt, recommended model, knowledge-source hints and which tools are enabled (handoff, lead capture, meeting request, course recommender).
When you create an assistant from a template, all that is filled in for you and you can edit anything before publishing.
The 17 templates
FE / education: Course Advisor, Guided Learning (ThinkGuide), Clearing & Admissions.
Customer-facing business: Customer Support, Sales Qualifier.
UK SMB industry-specific: Plumber & Trades, Salon & Beauty, Garage & MOT, Childcare nursery, Legal intake, Fitness gym, Restaurant booking, Property enquiry, Healthcare reception, Church & community.
Internal: HR onboarding.
Turnkey vs standard templates
Most templates drop you into the full create form with the values pre-filled.
The two FE 'turnkey' templates (Course Enquiries and Clearing) use a streamlined three-field wizard, name, email, optional booking link, and auto-create starter gov.uk knowledge sources too. From wizard submit to draft assistant: about 60 seconds.
Customising a template
Templates are starting points. Every field (prompt, name, model, temperature, tools) is editable after creation.
Common tweaks: change the business name, swap suggested sources for your own, switch from GPT-4o-mini to Claude Sonnet for nuanced replies, adjust the temperature for a more on-brand voice.
Adding your own template
Workspace owners can save any assistant as a template (Settings → Save as template) so colleagues building similar assistants don't repeat the work.
