Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a contract between you (or the organisation you represent) and Comxbot. By creating an account, signing in or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, probe or disrupt the platform.
- Use the Services to send spam, harass or deceive users.
- Bypass usage limits or share credentials.
- Use the Services to make safety-critical, medical, legal or financial decisions without appropriate human oversight.
3. Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for all activity on your account and for ensuring members of your workspace use the Services in line with these Terms. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
4. Subscription and payment
Paid plans are billed by Stripe in pounds sterling unless agreed otherwise. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing on 30 days' written notice.
5. Data ownership
You retain all rights, title and interest in the data you upload or generate using the Services ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide, secure and improve the Services for you, in accordance with our privacy policy and any data processing agreement in place.
6. Intellectual property
Comxbot owns all rights in the platform, including software, designs, trademarks and documentation. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership in our intellectual property to you. You may use the platform only as expressly permitted by these Terms.
7. AI output and accuracy
The Services use generative AI models. Output may contain errors or inaccuracies and must not be treated as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, especially in safeguarding, admissions, funding, legal or regulated contexts.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services in any 12-month period will not exceed the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be limited under English law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Services and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continued service poses a security or safety risk. On termination we will delete or return Customer Data in accordance with our retention policy.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via an in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
