Business hours and out-of-office

Show an honest status and collect details when you're closed, so nothing gets lost overnight.

Why set your hours

Your assistant answers 24/7, but your people don't. Business hours let the widget show whether you're open right now, so visitors know what to expect. When you're closed it switches to out-of-office mode.

This matters most for anything that needs a person, like a callback or a booking. Out of hours, the assistant gently steers visitors to leave their details rather than wait for a reply that won't come till morning.

Setting your hours

Go to Settings, then Business hours. Turn it on, pick your time zone, and set the open and close times for each day. Mark the days you're shut as closed, and add any holiday dates when you'll be closed regardless of the weekday.

Times are read in your time zone, not the visitor's, and they're handled correctly across daylight saving changes. So a 9am opening is 9am where your team actually is.

What happens when you're closed

When you're outside your hours, the widget shows a closed status with a short message you can edit, and it offers a 'Leave details' button so visitors can hand over their contact information.

Those details arrive as a lead in your inbox and by email, ready for the morning. So an enquiry that came in at 11pm is waiting for you at 9am, rather than lost.
